The Greenbird Blues Jam is back by popular demand! The Greenbird Blues Jam will now be a weekly event from 3pm to 6pm every Sunday. Our house band The Greenbirds have a rotating host from the Ottawa Blues scene each week. This is an all ages event, where solo, duo or bands that play roots music (Blues/Folk/Blues Rock/Country) are encouraged to bring thier instruments and play upto 3 songs with (or without) the backing of our house band. All backline is provided, as is free coffee 🙂 Alcoholic beverages and snacks will also be available to purchase in the hall. This event is a nuturing, welcoming environment where participants are warmly appreciated by our very supportive audience. But If you don’t play or sing, that’s fine too, just come along and enjoy the music and atmosphere! This event is a PWYC (Pay What You Can) event to help us cover event overheads. There is plenty of free parking out the front and participants are encouraged to come early to put your name on the performer list when you arrive. We hope to see you there!
